The future started in 2020

for some a blessing, to others a curse

situations arose, eventful and plenty

did it open your heart or just empty your purse?

If there is one thing I truly learned

it is never to take anything for granted

To struggle for the life I once yearned

has gotten me on the path to the future I wanted

Looking around me, there is plenty I see

lots to evolve if we want to survive

So emerge from your strength, you are finally free

to explore all new options, to be happy and thrive!
